General information regarding the training course radiation protection

Radiation surrounds us from many sides, e.g. cell phones, microwaves or naturally occurring radionuclides. The training courses on radiation protection are about the dangers of ionising radiation and protective measures. 

In the basics training course, you will find information on alpha, beta, gamma, x-rays and neutron radiation. You will earn how these radiations are created, what effects they have on the human body and how it can be measured. The second course deals with the protective measures against ionising radiation in the industry. The following topics are explained in this course: the principles of radiation protection, how to avoid contamination and how to behave correctly in case of an emergency.
